how to upgarde 02 XDA II

upgrade preparation:
download here pdaviet rom wm6.1 (himalaya) (28MB)
user: PDAVIET
pass: PDAVIET
rar pass:PDAVIET
(se everything capital letters)
extract the files on your pc.


after that run the following steps:

1.  preparation stage to do a charge pda first, make sure it has enough inventory batery power during the  upgrade process, you should turn off the screensaver on the computer.
2. enter bootloader mode on pda by pressing and holding the button: DPad power button reset button, after some time (1 second) release the reset button and another button if the pda screen it says "serial" at the top means that now you've been in bootloader mode.
3. put the pda on cradlekabel usb, make sure cradlekabel plugged directly into usb port and not through intermediaries usb hub, make sure the power supply also has been running smoothly, once plugged into cradlekabel pda, pda text on the screen will change to "usb"     
   4. Run HimaUpgradeUt_noID.exe, 
   5. click Next, and the ROM upgrade process will run
   6. Along the PDA screen will display "X% upgrade completed."Wait about 30 minutes (time may vary) to display "Congratulations" is displayed on the computer. If the PDA is still a strange display, during PC is showing
   7. upgrade has been completed then ignore the display on the PDA screen.unplug the PDA from the cradle / cable.
   8.   Perform "hardreset" on your PDA, do not imitate the way to reset the image, the right way: hold the Reset button and the Camera + Record button until the "Boot Options" is displayed on the PDA screen. Do the configuration with the following options:(To choose to use the Record button, replace the value with the camera button)When finished, press DPad and wait until Windows opens.

   9. Follow the wizard or skip. After that run the automatic installation ArcsoftMMS4.2.8.1UPX.cab, namely the program to send MMS and the program also automatically adjusts the settings according to your phone provider you use. Wait until the automatic restart.
   10. The program may offer the Network Wizard, choose 'YES' / 'NO'. Start.
   11. Based on the experience when I upgraded my PDA, after finishing the upgrade always STK error message appears, but do not worry about it please download ather90STK3.cab. here
   - Extract ather90STK3.rar so so ather90STK3.cab
   - Copy ather90STK3.cab to the PDA
   - Turn off the STK error message on the PDA by using the Task manager
   - Then install directly through the PDA ather90STK3.cab
   - Restart your PDA
